NASA has developed for 9 months an AI named AUDREY (Assistant for Understanding Data through Reasoning, Extraction, and Synthesis). It was designed to be the “guardian angel” to the first responders on the field, such as police, paramedics and firefighters. It has the ability to distinguish the role of the first responder and can be integrated with IoT devices in order to collect room temperatures, GPS signals, satellite images, detect the presence of toxic gases or chemicals and even safely guide a team of first responders through the flames.
